Hollywood horror ‘The Strangers – Chapter 2’, the fourth instalment of the series directed by Renny Harlin is now being screened in theatres in Colombo and outstations.
Starring Madelaine Petsch, with Gabriel Basso and Ema Horvath main roles, the film revolves around a victim and a witness of violence who is running away from her assailants.
After learning that one of their victims, Maya, is still alive, three masked maniacs return to finish the job. With nowhere to run and no one to trust, Maya soon finds herself in a brutal fight for survival against psychopaths who are more than willing to kill anyone who stands in their way.
The film is also the second instalment of a new trilogy following ‘The Strangers: Chapter 1’. Has its Hollywood premiere on September 16, and its world premiere on September 20.
Imported by the Liberty Cinemas ltd, The Strangers is released in Sri Lankan cinemas from September 26. It is now being screened at Liberty by Scope Kollupitiya, Kandy City Centre, SCOPE Cinema – Colombo City Centre, SCOPE Cinema – Havelock City Mall, PVR Cinema, Ram Cinema and Regal Cinemas. (SRF)
