Clarence biopic: Grand premiere in Kandy

The premiere of ‘Clarence – Rhythm of the Guitar’, the country’s first musical biopic was held at the Kandy City Centre multiplex. The movie’s cast and special invitees were seen on the red carpet.
‘Clarence – Rhythm of the Guitar’ is directed by Theja Iddamalgoda and produced by Thusitha Wijayasena, the acclaimed producer behind “Aloko Udapadi” and the founder of Kandy City Centre.
The film showcases a talented crew. Niroshan Edirimanna as Assistant Director, Ruwan Costa as the Director of Photography, Suresh Maliyadda handling music, and Yashoda Danupama editing and colours. Manjula Pushpakumara is the Art Director for the film while costumes are by Padeep Udukumbura and hair and makeup by Indika Udara Lanka. Gayan Srimal is the dance coordinator and Aruna Priyantha Kaluarachchi the sound engineer.
