The Sri Lanka Journalists for Global Justice (SLJGJ) will host the launch of three well-researched books on the Gaza crisis on Tuesday, July 1, from 4 to 6 pm at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute in Colombo 7.

The books offer profound insights into the ongoing Gaza crisis and the more than-century-long Palestinian problem. Authored by distinguished global justice activists, the books aim to challenge prevalent narratives and provide a deeper understanding of the conflict.

The three books are:

n Palestine (Tamil) by former minister Imthiaz Bakeer Markar

n No Tears for Palestine (English) by veteran journalist Latheef Farook

n Gaza Genocide (Sinhala) by veteran journalist Mahinda Hattaka

The event will also feature reviews of the books by prominent figures: President’s Counsel M M Zuhair, and journalists Shirley Candappa and Tharindu Uduwaragedara.

All are welcome.
