Heavy rains accompanied by wind speeds exceeding 60 km/h have caused chaos across many areas in the country and left the fishing community among the worst affected. With the Met Department issuing warnings of heavy winds today, at the Kandakuliya fishing village in Kalpitiya, these boats were seen lined up, unable to go out to sea.
