Hindu College, Jaffna coasted to a convincing innings and 100-run win over Hindu College, Colombo in the Battle of the Hindus cricket encounter concluded at Jaffna yesterday. On the second day of play, Hindu Jaffna, starting their innings at 160 for 4 in response to their opponent’s 80 runs, went on to declare at 240 for 8.

Hindu Colombo, tasked with erasing a 160-run deficit in their second innings, struggled against the bowling duo of Sutharsan Subarnan and Kumanan Tharansan, who shared eight wickets between them. Eventually, Hindu Colombo was dismissed for a mere 60 runs.
