Jaffna Central record ninth series win
View(s):Jaffna Central College made amends for their 10-wicket defeat in 117th Battle of the North to traditional rivals St. John’s College by recording a 4-wicket win in the 21st Battle of the North Limited Over encounter played at the Jaffna Central ground yesterday.
Batting first, St. John’s were bowled out for paltry 116 runs and Jaffna Central chased down the target in the 30th over. This was their ninth win of the series against the 12 by St. John’s.
