In a carefully planned operation backed by the Police anti-riot squad and the army, the Colombo National Hospital’s Deputy Director Dr. Rukshan Bellana was taken to safety on Friday after workers held him hostage for six hours while surrounding his office room. But it was two dummies who were first taken out in the presence of the protesting health workers. Dr. Bellana was moved away from a different path while the dummies distracting the protestors.
