St Sylvester’s College Kandy marks Media Day
View(s):The Media Day of St Sylvester’s College Kandy ‘Swarna Panhinda’ was held at the College Auditorium last Wednesday with Psychology Lecturer Dr Ashoke Priyadarshana as chief guest.
The event was held under the patronage of Principal of the College Asela Ravindra Ranasinghe.
The all-island trilingual media competition winners were presented awards with Mahamaya Balika, Kandy winning the Sri Lal Gomas memorial award, named after the veteran photographer who was an old boy of the College. The Madawala S Ratnayake memorial award, named after the Sinhala novelist, short story writer, lyricist and poet was won by Sylvestrian Senal Jayamaha.
