Nalanda – the best shuttlers
View(s):Nalanda College Colombo emerged champions in the Division ‘A’ of the All-Island Inter-School Badminton Tournament 2014 organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Badminton Association which concluded at the Royal College, Badminton complex recently.
Nalanda was given a tough time in the semi-finals by Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda who went down fighting to concede a 2-3 win and in the finals when Nalanda met St. Anthony’s College Katugastota. The Colombo lads scored an easy 3-1 win to be crowned as the 2014 Division ‘A’ winners.
Nalanda Under-15 shuttlers won the championship at the Janaka Bogollagama Memorial Badminton Championship worked off at the Kurunegala Welagedera Badminton Stadium earlier.
