Junior Golf at Victoria
The annual Victoria Golf and Country Resort Junior Golf Championship will take place on August 3 commencing at 7.30am at Digana, Kandy.
The practice session will be held a day earlier at the same venue. This will be an ideal opportunity for the young golfers to display their powers and skills in Golf. The Victoria Golf course which is in excellent conditions and one of the best in Asia is sure attracts large spectator interest.
This tournament will be opened to all boys and girls under the age of 18 years. The championship will tee off with the 9-hole tournament for the Under-10 age group. The main event will be the overall gross awards for the first runner-up and second runner-up. This will be on 18-hole championship. Class B will be for those in the age group of 11 to 14. Class A championship will see boys and girls in the age group of 15 to 17 battling it out.
