Mercantile Rugby Sevens on May 30, 31 and June 1
View(s):MAS Holdings will be looking out to defend their Rugby Cup when they come out at the 12th Dialog-Mercantile Rugby Sevens 2014, conducted by the Mercantile Rugby Football Association for the 44th year, to be held on May 30, 31 and June 1 at CR&FC Grounds, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
In the 2013 tournament held on August 10 and 11, where 34 teams participated, MAS Holdings won the Cup, John Keells ‘A’ won the Playoff for the third place, John Keells ‘B’ won the Plate, Citizens Development Bank won the Bowl and Brandix Intimates won the Shield championship titles.

A special meeting is scheduled for the captains of the prospective participating teams to elaborate on the intricate details pertaining to the tournament on Tuesday, May 13 at 5.00pm at the CR&FC Old Pavilion.
Entries will close on Wednesday, May 21 at 12.00 noon and the official draw for groupings will be held on Monday, May 26 at 5.00pm at the CR & FC Old Pavilion.
