It was a good game of rugby with both teams opening it out. The second half certainly belonged to the Peterites who added 19 points in that time. The Antonians, for their part, were never really outplayed. They defended stoutly.

Scrum half Steve Dharmaratne, fly half Sandesh Jayawickrema, hooker Shenal Aponso and flanker Nishun Perera went over. The conversions were effected by Shamry Burah.

Winger Probodhana Rodrigo, full back Hasitha Kasturiarahchi and hooker Dinesh Rodrigo scored for the home team. Nimesha Gunasinghe made one conversion.
Referee Rohan Fernando.
