Polypackaging Industries gets ISO certification for management systems

Kurunegala-based Polypackaging Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. has received the   ISO 9001:2008 certification on Quality Management Systems, and that it enhanced its profile as a manufacturer of packaging material of the highest quality in Sri Lanka.  The Certificate of Conformity by INDEXPO Certification Ltd was presented by the Secretary to the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Anura Siriwardene to the Managing Director of Polypackaging Industries (Pvt.) Ltd, S.M.A.G.Perera, at a brief ceremony recently at the Ministry of Industry & Commerce.  Present at the occasion were P.M.Karunaratne, Director Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Nimal Perera, Chairman and Mr.D.N.S.Kuruppumullage, Director, of INDEXPO with Officers from Polypackaging Industries. The company achieved ISO 22000: 2005 certification on Food Safety, in 2011. Picture shows the certificate being presented.
