Lalith Ramanayake appointed Director at Watawala Plantations

Lalith Ramanayake, former Chairman of Colombo Broker’s Association and Deputy Chairman of the Tea Association of Sri Lanka has been appointed to the Board of Watawala Plantations, an enterprise of the Sunshine Holdings Group.

Mr. Ramanayake previously held several senior positions in John Keells Group of Companies and retired from the post of Executive Vice President of John Keells Holdings in 2011.

He joined the board of Watawala Plantations PLC with effect from 8th August.

“His knowledge and experience in the plantation industry will be of great value to the company,” said Sunshine Holdings Group Managing Director, Vish Govindasamy in a media statement.
