Sri Lanka Navy sent Old Wesleyites SC to a dry dock when they defeated the latter by a convincing 53 to 33 points in their men’s Colombo Super League basketball fixture at Amal International School recently.

At halftime Navy led by 26 points
to 12.

D.M. Siriwardena with 16 points, G.S. Leelaratha 10 and D.S. A. Perera 8 were the best shooters for the Navy.
For the Old Wesleyites SC the highest scorer was Asath Afham with 20 points and F. De Silva six.
The tournament is being conducted by the Colombo District Basketball Association and is being played at St. Joseph’s Convent, Nugegoda and Amal International School.
