Travel Trade shuttle again
View(s):The 18th Travel trade Sports Club Badminton Championships 2013 will be held at the S. Thomas’ College Indoor Stadium in Mt. Lavinia today. The tournament which will be held in men’s and women’s segments and sponsored by Serendib Leisure will be on from 8.30am.
The tournament will be conducted as a team championship with three categories, namely, the Men’s Open, Women’s Open and Men’s Over-40.
SriLankan Airlines is the current title holder in the Men’s Open and Men’s Over-40 championships while Cinnamon Lakeside are the defending Women’s champions.
The Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament in each of the three categories will receive a special award.
The teams who have sent in their entries up to date are SriLankan Airlines, Gateway Hotel Seeduwa, Cinnamon Lakeside, The Kingsbury Hotel, Tangerine Beach Hotel Kalutara, Jetwing Blue Negombo, Jetwing Beach Negombo, Walkers and Whittals, Exotic Holidays, Mermaid Hotel Kalutara and the sponsor, Serendib Leisure.
