J. L. Morisons appoints Prof. Ravindra Fernando as Director
View(s):Forensic Medicine and Toxicology expert Professor Ravindra Fernando has been appointed as the Non-Executive/Independent Director J. L. Morison Son and Jones (Ceylon) PLC with effect from 15th December 2012 , a media release issued by the company said.
He is the Senior Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology of the University of Colombo. He has worked as a Senior Lecturer in the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Hospital, University of London, and the University of Glasgow.
He was the Founder Head, National Poisons Information Centre, of National Hospital of Sri Lanka, Colombo and a member of the Cosmetics, Devices and Drugs Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Health.
