TT coaching camps held in Jaffna and Vavuniya

The Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka, together with the Vavuniya District Table Tennis Association and the Jaffna District Table Tennis Association, successfully organised coaching camps in Vavuniya and Jaffna on January 12 and 13 respectively.

Participation in these two camps was much better than in previous coaching camps held in these districts. These two camps were entirely sponsored by Manzil Muthalib, Chairman of the Coaching and Development Committee of TTASL.

Players from these two districts, especially the girls, showed a tremendous interest in the game. This may be due to the fact that they had been deprived of any exposure to the sport due to the war for a long time and are now eager to come out and show their talent.
