MMI celebrates World Children’s Day

View(s):

MMI joined this global movement and celebrated the day on October 1st. The teachers organized a collection of fun games and activities for the children. Some of the activities that were featured on this day were face painting and dancing.  The children were also treated to delicious chocolate cake.

All in all, both teachers and students thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations.

Children’s Day was established in 1954 to protect children from working long hours under dangerous circumstances and to allow all children access to an education. Today, Children’s Day is celebrated on various days in different countries, all with the common goal of honouring children globally.
