Valuable prizes for Tour De Sri Lanka Youth

The Tour De Sri Lanka Youth cycle race conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development will be held on December 8, 9 and 10. This cycle race will take place from Batticaloa to Matara.

The cycle race which will start on December 8 at Batticaloa will proceed via Kattandudy, Pattirippu, Kalmunai, Samanthurai, Ampara, Damana, Pallewela up to Siyambalnduwa. On day two (December 9) and race will start from Siyambalnduwa and will proceed to Ambalanthota via Kodayana, Monaragala, Buttala, Wellavaya, Thanamalwila, Lunugmvehara, Tissamaharama and Mirijjawela. On the third day (10) the race will end at Matara taking the cyclists through Ranna, Tangalle and Dikwella.

The winner of this grueling race will be in line for a motor car. The winners of the second, third, fourth and fifth place winners will carry away handsome cash prizes amounting to not less than several lakhs of rupees.

Cash prizes will also be given to winners up to the 25th place. Several other valuable prizes will also be given out to the winners up to the 25th place and to all those who complete the three day event.
