Kumudu Kumara best muscleman

D.L.G. Kumudu Kumara of the Sri Lanka Air Force carried away the trophy for the Most Muscular Man at the Bodybuilding Championships conducted by the Sri Lanka Bodybuilding Association and Lakmini Sports Club. Second place in the contest went to S. Sisira Kumara also of the Sri Lanka Air Force while the third place went to H.M.S.S. Shashi also of the Air Force.

The title for the Best Muscleman in the Under 21 age category was won by A.M. Amila of the Galle Millennium Sports Club. The Best Muscleman title (Over 21) was won by Sameera Dias also of the Galle Millennium Sports Club.

The following musclemen won titles in the following categories:
55kg: G.D. Manushka Jayasinghe (SLAF); 60 kg: M.D.P. Dias (SLN); 65kg: S.M. Fairz (SLN); 70kg: P.R.R. Seneviratne (SLN); 75kg: D.L.G. Kumudu Kumara (SLAF); 80kg: L. Upul Kamal (SLAF); 85kg: S.Sisira Kumara (SLAF); Over 85kg: G.H.R. Kavinda (SLN).
