High achievers excel at Cambridge A/Levels

The Cambridge International Examinations High Achievers at the November 2010 and June 2011 Advanced Level Tests was held at the Ceylon Continental Hotel on the 26th of November. The ceremony was presided over by Chief Guest the Honourable Bandula Gunewardhena (Minister for Education). The students of Lyceum International excelled at the Alevels as follows:

Senal Dinusha Abheyagunewardhana – Top in Sri Lanka for Accounting & Top in the world for Computing, Ayodya Madhubashini Weragoda Gamage – Top in Sri Lanka for Economics,
Dinitha Subhashana Bulathsinghala – Top in the world for Mathematics.

Apart from the above, there were many more prizes awarded to Lyceumite students. Clifford Richards was the main speaker over the whole event, which lasted from 10.45 AM to 01.15 PM, after which the crowd dispersed for a light luncheon.
