Mahanama ends Rahula run

Mahanama College, Colombo put an end to Rahula College, Matara’s winning streak when they won their Under-17 Division I second round cricket match by 44 runs at Rahula College ground.

Batting first Mahanama scored 253 for the loss of nine wickets in a game reduced to 33 overs per side.
Rahula were 172 for the loss of eight wickets in the third delivery of the 27th over when the umpires stopped the match due to bad light. Rahula should have reached a score of 216 runs according to the parabola formula used to calculate target scores in this tournament.
