BRM Solutions provide storage facilities for company records, files

Sri Lanka’s public and private sector institutions are now outsourcing the maintenance of office files and records as these institutions have to deal with millions of documents. For most Sri Lankan companies and public sector institutions, hard copy documents and printed materials are the lifeline of business.

Yet, these valuable assets are often stored haphazardly, difficult to access, and vulnerable to loss or tampering. Many files must be kept for years creating volumes of paper that will only continue to grow, consuming valuable office space, said Faiz ur Rahman, Chairman of Bridges Worldwide (Pvt) Ltd and Bridges World Wide Records Management Solutions (BRMS), in an interview with Business Times.
Institutions such as the Department of Registration of Motor vehicles, Registrar of birth, marriage and death, Lands Registrars’ Department, Ministries, hospitals as well as private sector enterprises are facing problems in maintaining record rooms due to lack of space and manpower for proper maintenance of files and back office work. BRMS provides modern record room facilities for local private companies, including Asiri hospitals PLC Dialog, DHL, ICICI Bank and Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), he added.

The BRMS’s state-of-the art storage facility offers a safe, secure, compliant storage environment for any type of vital record and keeps company files easily accessible to officials: Its file storage facility will not only help to clean out office and to best use office space but also protect most important documents. Mr. Rahman said that his company is specialized in records management, Data protection and recovery Comprehensive Document imaging service, scanning solutions, or digital archiving, for management of inactive file storage. It will also give access to records from office PC or from home. The company has facilities to store hard copies in box files in its warehouse, and it will be stored in a very systematic way. “It’s not time consuming anymore when you want to retrieve a document, we even pickup and also deliver from and to your door step in our specially designed boxes to carry box files.
