Anula Vidyalaya bagged the Under 12 girls badminton championships at the Ananda Alahakone memorial All Island Badminton Championships. The boys title was won by Richmond College Galle.
The runners-up in the girl’s events was won by Sangamitta Balika Vidyalaya while the boy’s runners-up title was won by Ananda Vidyalaya Colombo.
The contest which was held for the second successive year was held at the Richmond College courts. Thirty four teams participated in the girls competition while 28 teams figured in the boy’s contest.
