Pictures from the wild to save the wild

A wildlife photographic exhibition “Nourishing Nature” will be held at the Kandy City Centre in Dalada Veediya from October 1 to 3 to raise funds to protect wildlife. Photographs from Sri Lanka’s top wildlife photographers will be on display.

The event is being organized by Lions Club of Hill Capital (Kandy) for the second successive year. Last year the club used the funds that it raised to provide first-aid kits for animals to be used in the national wildlife sanctuaries. The income from the exhibition this year will be used to replenish the medicines and provide additional new kits.

The exhibition will also be an opportunity for wildlife photograph collectors to buy the works of some of the best photographers in this field.
