Brandix Mercury earns ISO process certificate

Brandix Mercury, the centralised financial accounting unit of one of Sri Lanka's top apparel manufacturers, recently received the ISO 9001:2008 certification for its processes and documentation methodology, according to a company statement. Also indicated was that the next step for the operation would be the ISO 27001:2005 certification for Information Security Management Systems.

Being awarded by the International Certification Services of Mumbai, the ISO certification, which took just four and a half months, is said to cover "Provision of Financial and Accounting Services for the Brandix Group".
