Malaysia Airlines’ new Manager for Sri Lanka

Malaysia Airlines has appointed Manmohan Singh as its new Area Manager for Sri Lanka and the Maldives from May 1.

“I see great potential for Sri Lankan tourism industry, now that the country has been liberated from the war with the LTTE,” said Mr Singh, a Malaysian national who has 20 years experience in the airline industry.

“I know things are tough and there are great challenges before us, but I feel very positive about Sri Lanka,” he added. He said he main priority is to sustain and grow the profit for Malaysia Airlines in Sri Lanka and Maldives
