Single bid for Seylan Bank stake

 

The Central Bank (CB) on Friday said it received just one bid for the fresh call put in for the strategic partner of Seylan Bank. Stock market sources said LOLC was the bidder. Company officials were not available to contact. CB in a statement said that the Committee for Evaluation of Bids on Seylan Bank is currently in the process of evaluating this bid and a final decision will be taken by the Monetary Board by June 16.
