UL Club –SriLankan holds its first AGM
 

The Association of Ex- Airline executives of Air Lanka and SriLankan Airlines, formed just a year ago, held its first AGM recently at Ranmal Resort at Moratuwa. The meeting followed a fellowship and lunch and was well attended by members and spouses.

The Club was formed with the aim of fostering fellowship, harmony and camaraderie amongst the ex- senior staff of the airline and they have been successful in organizing some events during the year which saw several members who have migrated to other parts of the world too participating. The club is currently planning its annual get-together in December, the association said in a statement.

The executive committee of the club is headed by Rienzie de Silva while Preethimali Galgamuwa is the Hon Secretary. The rest of the Committee is, Susantha Peiris – Hon. Vice-President, Naveen Gunawardene – Hon. Treasurer, Meena Lee – Hon. Asst Secretary, Milton Kuruppu- Hon. Asst Treasurer, Shreen Willatgamuwa – Public Relations Officer and Dharmaratne Herath, Boditha Bandaranayake, Jaya Ratnayake and Rohan Siriwardene as Committee members.
