View(s):Since 1996, Brandix Corporate Campus (BCC), a subsidiary of Brandix Lanka Limited, has been offering pioneering clothing technology courses to those interested in becoming professionals in the apparel industry. BCC believes in providing their students with a ‘Gateway to a Career in the Apparel Industry,’ and to that end, they offer over 100 specialised technical courses ranging from fabric technology to merchandising, advanced pattern-making, production management, sewing machinery skills, and so on.

A majority of BCC students and alumni are school leavers interested in pursuing a career in the apparel industry as well as those already in the apparel industry who wish to enhance their skill set. Catering to those two groups, the training activities offered on campus are divided into two categories: industry-based training for newcomers and industry-oriented training for industry personnel.
Our flagship programme, the Advanced Diploma in Fashion, Apparel and Textiles is guaranteed to provide students with a well-rounded education along with internship experience and opportunities for growth. Everyone who is interested in pursuing an education in apparel and textiles is welcome to enroll in the course. At BCC, we accept all ages, no matter young or old. Our only requirement is that 2 A-level passes are needed. It does not matter whether those wishing to enroll were from maths, science, commerce, or art streams; the course is open for all.
The programme will only last 24 months, with 12 months requiring full-time participation and the remaining 12 months requiring part-time participation. It will cover over 22 carefully curated modules, giving you a comprehensive understanding of the apparel industry.
The programme will use a hybrid model, which means that both online and in-person lectures will be given. Our programmes have been designed to be as flexible, accessible, and engaging for our students as possible, so that they can absorb everything that is taught to them. Our faculty and facilities also demonstrate our dedication to providing our students with a strong foundation in the apparel industry.
It is also worth noting that the programme was created by experienced Apparel Industry professionals who used their first-hand knowledge and expertise to ensure that the programme keeps up with new industry developments. As a BCC student, you will have access to first-hand information and insights on the direction of the entire apparel industry as a result of our involvement with our parent company, Brandix Lanka Limited.
The programme will include work experience which will provide practical knowledge, as students are expected to participate in a 44-week in-plant training. Students will be rotated to various areas throughout many factories, providing an overall understanding of the apparel value chain.
BCC’s ‘Inspired internship programme’ offers the opportunity to gain internship experience in a variety of areas in apparel production, providing end-to-end exposure to the apparel chain.
The internship experience will give students a competitive advantage—gaining experience working with different people, knowledge about the industry in a hands-on manner, and the chance to work closely on real-world projects adds value to your professional skill set. Through internships, students can also expand their network and potentially discover unique career opportunities in the future.
Students will also be able to recover 45% of their course fee, which is only Rs. 665,000, through their paid Inspired internship programme.
Following graduation, students from Brandix Corporate Campus are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work in different segments of the apparel industry including fashion design, textile manufacturing, marketing, product management, collection management, and more.
