The inaugural Yeti Open Junior National Squash Championships conducted by Sri Lanka Squash (SLS) will be held from September 11 to 17 at the SSC Squash Courts in Maitland Place. Leading isotonic sports drinks manufacturer Yeti, who had been a major supporter of SLS helping the national team members with their quality products, has taken another major step in backing the local tournaments conducted by SLS.

The tournament has attracted over 225 entries and will feature all top Girls’ and Boys’ junior players in the country from Under-9 to Under-19. The Sri Lankan juniors performed well at the recently concluded 29th Asian Junior Individual Squash Championships held in Thailand with five players reaching the last 16 in the Asian Circuit and two players eventually, won the Plate title in their respective age groups.

Therefore, this tournament will further help the Sri Lankan junior squash players and will be a huge boost to SLS.
