Sri Lankan Legends team will open their – Road Safety World Series (RSWS) – tournament taking on long-time rivals Australia’s legends this evening at 7.30 at Kanpur, India, in the second double-header of the day.
Former opening batter-cum-captain, Tillakaratne Dilshan, will be leading the side this time also, which emerged as runners-up in the series’ inaugural edition, last year.
Thisara Perera, Dilruwan Perera and Isuru Udana, having all quit the game last year, are some of the latest additions.
The trio will be replacing – Rangana Herath and Russel Arnold – who are occupied with coaching and commentating duties at today’s Asia Cup, respectively.
