Wrexham Glyndwr University is 1st in England and Wales for social inclusion (Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, 2022). Located in North-East Wales (UK), the University has its origins in the Wrexham School of Science and Art (WSSA), which was established in 1887. The University has been functioning under its present name -Wrexham Glyndwr University – since 2008. Although a relatively young University, Wrexham Glyndwr University has carved a niche for itself as an innovative higher education institution which offers applied courses leading to employability in a broad range of fields. It is a vibrant and friendly place where each student’s learning and future is given personal attention.

High riser – We are delighted to have climbed a staggering 41 places in The Guardian  University Guide league table, from 107th overall in the UK last year to 66th this year.

Intakes – Enrol in one of our undergraduate or postgraduate degrees offered by the University in Sep 2022 with special intakes for MBA & MSc (Computing and Engineering) in May 2022 and MBA in Jun 2022.

Fees – Undergraduate course fee of GBP 11,750, postgraduate GBP 12,500 and MBA GBP 13,000. Students will be offered a bursary of GBP 2,000 when 100% of tuition fees are paid and GBP 1,000 when 75% of tuition fees are paid prior to issue of CAS.

Living – Wales is considered as one of the most affordable region in the UK for living. Students will be required to show evidence they can cover a twelve month living cost of GBR 9,000 at the time of applying for a student visa to the University.

Industry collaboration – The University offers industry-led courses and are proud of the collaborations with leading local and regional employers, such as Airbus, Kellogg’s, JCB and the BBC.  The knowledge and expertise from these collaborations are fed back into the University’s courses to ensure students are provided with only the most relevant skills for their future careers.

Student life – Students are at the heart of the University and the University’s student support and welfare is second to none. All students enjoy a vibrant, friendly and supportive community, focused on inspiring each person through a personal tutorial system with the aim of supporting and meeting needs of individuals in reaching their potential through academic excellence.
