We rise by hoisting others
The Rotaract Club of College of Chemical Sciences partnered with the Students’ Association of CCS to venture on project “BACK TO SCHOOL ” under its Community Service avenue, at Sri Nishshanka National School, Indulgodakanda, Kurunegala on the 28th of October.
Our able Rotaractors handed over 60 stationary item packs which benefited 60 students for a complete school year, a twin buffel sound system, 1000 surgical face masks and 20 liters of hand sanitizer worth over 120,000 rupees, necessary for uplifting and the functioning of the school and help the school practice a COVID free environment during these desperate times of need.
As chemists, our utmost goal is to work side by side to uplift rural communities by providing innovative and sustainable solutions.
This effort comes to be at the community level but knows no limits in its outreach from Rotaract CCS.
