the globally recognised Creative School in Sri Lanka.

AMDT School of Creativity, being the pioneering institution for Creativity in Sri Lanka, offers undergraduate programmes in some of the most popular Creative disciplines in the world. These programmes are awarded by the UK’s Falmouth University (a university that’s recognized as one of the top 50 Creative schools worldwide) and Pearson (UK’s most recognized awarding body).

AMDT School of Creativity has built a reputation in the Creative education sector in Sri Lanka for shaping young talent to meet industry standards through modern strategic thinking and applying Creativity to solve real-world problems for people, communities, and brands over the past 16 years.

No A-Levels? No worries – begin your journey from
“Year Zero”

As a practice, most Sri Lankan students start their A‘Levels expecting to enter state university degree programmes. But as only a little percentage as 10% gain entrance, students who drop out either re-do their A‘Levels or join private degree programmes. Not forgetting the fact that students starting their degrees after A‘Levels graduate and typically start their career at the age of 24.

But AMDT School of Creativity’s new ‘Year Zero’ concept allows students to enter directly into the undergraduate programmes immediately following their O’Levels without studying A’Levels or another Foundation Diploma course.

With this new offering, students are now able to save a good amount of their time and focus on following their Creative dreams and building their skills and thinking process to become leaders in the Creative industry. And most of all, build a career on what they love doing the most.

Since most employers prefer “Degrees” over A’Levels when hiring new employees, AMDT School of Creativity’s Year Zero programme, combined with the industry exposure it provides, will ensure that students are prepared for stable employment opportunities even before they complete their degrees.

Full-time and part-time
opportunities to learn from
the best minds in the
Creative industries.

AMDT School of Creativity’s teaching methods focus on improving the practical application of Creative thinking in addition to its internationally recognised course content delivered by some of the finest minds working in today’s Creative industries with many years of experience collaborating with many brands and projects. This makes learning very relevant to what’s going on in the real world.

Students will be guided to develop talent, acquire skills, and build up their personality in order to face their future careers confidently, with courses available for study in both part-time and full-time options.

Driven by the principle of “courses for careers” – tailored to bring out the best in everyone.

AMDT School of Creativity is celebrated for offering courses that resonate with the real-world demand for careers. All programmes at AMDT School of Creativity are open for school leavers after O’Levels or A’Levels, and professionals looking for a globally recognised qualification with work experience in the relevant field.

The courses are well-planned and custom-designed to meet every career in the respective Creative discipline; this is also one of the main reasons why AMDT students get hired by organisations even before they graduate! AMDT students are exposed to a competitive learning environment that prepares them to harness the best of their skills and abilities, with a strong emphasis on helping them develop their best portfolios of work through individual and group projects.
