Sustainability of the ‘new normal behaviour

Rotary Sri Lanka and Maldives took the high ground to keep the brand salience of the ‘Stop the Spread’ by launching a series of communication programmes. One of the most recent was the ‘Hyde Park’ discussion that was held in a popular TV channel.

The top personalities of Rotary like the Past Rotary International President and Current Chairman of Rotary International Foundation K Ravindran, the Rotary District Governor Ajith Weerasinghe, the Sri Lanka Standards Institute CEO/ Director General Dr Siddhika Senaratne and Project Director for Stop the Spread Dr Rohantha Athukorala.

One of the key discussion points is the sustainability of the new normal behaviour in the School curriculum given that the schools are opening in mid April. The current programme at the school end ‘Stop the Spread’ extending to the rest of the school environment and then a higher speed of adoption of the ‘ Covid-19 Control Environment Certification’ which is currently at around three hundred entities said Rotary in a communique.
