Atamie produces best results at the Pearson/Edexcel IGCSE Nov 2020 Exams

Atamie International School which has been recording an exam pass rate of 92% and above has bettered the feat at the November 2020 Pearson/Edexcel IGCSE examinations. The pass rate accelerated to 99% and the A stars for subjects increased to 142.

The school overall performance was 142 A* grades, 55 A grades, 59 B grades and 50 C grades comparing to the traditional grading system. 5 students received all subjects A* grading. 4 students received all subjects A* star grading and A Grading, 12 students all subjects A & B grading. Of the super performers, Nafeesa Humaira of Wattala head school reached the top, achieving higher scores for English Language, Mathematics A, ICT, Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics. Puvanica Kiritharan of the Kotahena Branch reached the next best in the science stream. The other star performers are Abdul Aziz (Head School – Commerce Stream), Nathusan Yogeswaran (Kotahena Branch–Science Stream), Ms. Angel Sobitha (Head School- Science Stream).

Dr. Lionel Kularatne, Narmadha Spelmen, Yogamala Perampalam, Himali Ramawickrama, Naveed Ahmed, Punsara Senevirathne, Puneetha Velautham, Sarath Porage, Prisca Ravikuma, Alex Uduman, and Dhanushka Nilaweera  were the teachers who supported the young talented clad to achieve best results.

Atamie International school network is the brain child of veteran educationist Deshamanya Dr. Azard Uduman who started the school in January 2003. He steered the network of school with his highly intellectual skills and abilities and positive thinking power, motivating students, parents and teachers using his psychology and clinical hypnotherapy talents.
