New Students Attended ANC Orientation Day to Begin their Higher Studies in US/Canada Transfer and Australian Foundation & Diploma Programmes
Over 155 new students eagerly attended ANC Orientation day in February 2021 to commence their U.S & Canada University Transfer programme, U.S Degree Completion program and Australian Foundation and Diploma programme. The Orientation session was held in person and via online platform during the first week of February at ANC Flagship Campus and ANC Branch Campus Kandy. Students were thrilled and excited to begin a new chapter in their lives after completing their O/Levels and A/Levels.
ANC Orientation Day was an informative and valuable learning experience where students got to know each aspect of University life. New students engaged in fun ice breaker activities and interactive games, Campus tour, student life presentations and ANC Club Fairs. They also met the Lecture panel, Academic team and Student Affairs team followed by a delicious brunch at their favorite café.
The new students joined from many local and international schools across the island that include; Visaka Vidyalaya, Bishops College, Lyceum International School, Wycherley International School, St. Peters College, Royal College, Gateway College, Holy Family Convent, Sirimavo Bandaranayake Vidyalaya, Trinity College, St. Anthony’s College, Hillwood College in Kandy and more.
ANC Education will be having a special enrollment intake in April 2021 to accommodate students that are experiencing a delay in O/L examinations and A/L results due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.
All students are able to enroll for the U.S/Canadian and Australian Programs with pending O/L and A/L results to ensure their academic achievement deadlines are met without further delays.

I played Basketball for my school and we won many inter-school Basketball tournaments. I was also part of 10 different Societies and Clubs in school while I managed to get good grades for my studies. “I chose ANC because a good friend recommended that I join because of the unique system of U.S Education that ANC offered. I come from a Business family background and my plan is to open my own business in fashion and textiles and expand my father’s business. I believe the Northwood University U.S Business Degree would enhance my knowledge and equip me with the skills to achieve my career goals.

“ANC Orientation was really good because I got to know they have a lot of Student Clubs at ANC that I could join and ANC offered many opportunities beyond academics to experience the variety of university life. The interactive games were fun and we got gifts for answering the questions.
I played Netball and handball in school and won several inter-school tournaments. I was also part of the School Choir. I really enjoyed my studies and got good grades throughout.

After I complete my ANC Diploma programme in Business I will get 100% Credit Transfer when I maintain good grades for direct entry into my 2nd year at University in Australia.
