Northern chapter of AAUP holds first meeting
View(s):The Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya (AAUP) had taken steps to establish its newest chapter in Jaffna to cover Northern Sri Lanka. The inaugural meeting of the Northern Chapter will be held at 3 pm at the Jaffna University Medical Faculty Auditorium today (March 8). The event will be coordinated by a team led by Prof S Kannathasan. All Peradeniya graduates and post-graduates are welcome to attend this function. This is the fourth local AAUP chapter, after the Colombo, Ruhuna and Wayamba chapters. There are foreign AAUP chapters in Australia and Canada.
