SLB to host Badminton Forum on February 8
View(s):Taking forward the passion for promoting the sport in the country with creative initiatives, Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) will host a badminton forum on February 8.
The forum aimed at educating new global trends in badminton as well as the future plans laid out by SLB, will take place at Sri Lanka Foundation Institute from 9.00 am (registration at 8.30am). The forum will be followed by a Q and A session.
Lunch will be provided to all the participants.
The affiliated and non-affiliated national players, coaches, past players and parents of junior players as well as the national selectors and technical officials are expected.
A wide array of subjects, including administration, operations, technology, competitions, national reserves, school training programs, including the area of regional development will be discussed during the forum.
Preparations for national and international tournaments, pooling the national team, player selection, technical issues, international training for coaches, parenting issues of junior shuttlers will also be discussed.
