NSBM Opens Days 2020: A leap towards educational empowerment

The NSBM Opens Days held on 25 and 26 January 2020 was a resounding success and a giant step towards this year’s theme and strife towards elevating the nation via educational empowerment. Hundreds of students and parents flocked to NSBM in order to enroll into the degree programmes of their desire whilst soaking in the sites and wonders of undergraduate life.
The university was encased in vibrance and bustle, as the staff and students were engaged in various activities organised specially to provide a snapshot of ‘a day in the life of an NSBM undergraduate’ to the countless visitors and prospective students. Thus, the Open days entailed school development programmes with the participation of neighboring schools, exhibitions and stalls displayed by all three faculties, and workshops on multimedia and IT. In keeping with NSBM’s philosophy of balancing work and play, the open days too featured this unique NSBM flavor, encompassing a scrumptious street food festival, friendly sporting encounters echoed through the recreation centre, with Basketball, Swimming, Badminton and Table Tennis at the fore. Whilst throughout the days, the Music Club provided ample entertainment, serenading the crowds with their sweet tunes.
