Correction: It was Ladies, not Musaeus
View(s):Last week our sports columns carried a news ‘Royal, Musaeus overall champs’ as the results of the 30th Ranfer Sprints Rowing Championship 2019, held at the Beira Lake.
However we are made to understand by the organisers of the event, that the official results provided to us were incomplete and unlike the copy states — ‘Royal College, Colombo and Musaeus College were overall champions’ the correct results should make Royal College and Ladies College the ultimate champions of the event.
The official results sheet had indicated that Royal and Musaeus were the overall winners. We regret the error.
