SL Masters T20 League Tournament on Feb.3
View(s):It was revealed at the press conference held at the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) Fine Dining Restaurant on Wednesday (30) that 4 teams of veterans will be in action at the inaugural Sri Lanka Masters T20 League Quadrangular Tournament 2019, starting on February 3.
The senior citizens- Over (O)-50, of 4 Cricket Associations- MCA, State Services Cricket Association (SSCA), Nationalised Services Cricket Association (NSCA) and Colombo Masters Cricket Association (CMCA), are believed to have gone into intensive fitness training for the past 3 weeks. The tournament, a brainchild of Mahes de Zoysa, former Anandian wicketkeeper-batsman and CMCA founder in 2017, will get under way on February 3 at the NSCA Grounds, Ratmalana.
The Quadrangular will be continued from February 8-17 at the Bloomfield C&AC grounds and the two finals, including the playoff for 3rd place will be held on February 24 at the MCA grounds.
