Antonian left-armer Nimnaka Jayatilleka took pride of place with a match bag of 10 for 84 as the Antonians achieved their fourth win in the season. This time over St. Perer’s Negombo.

After the batsmen had plundered 470 runs and batted into the second day, a victory seems out of the question. But weak-kneed batting by the Negombo lads and tantalizing spin bowling by little Jayatilake helped Antonians to win by innings and 93 runs at Katugastota.

Theeksha Gunasingha and debutant Shamindu Wickremasinghe struck centuries for the home team. But Mohammed Kameel (84) missed it.
