Business lunch in a box
Located right in the corporate hub of the city, the Kingsbury Hotel is the ideal location for a swift lunch that tastes good or a lunch meeting, quick bite with your friends or even a date. The Kingsbury now offers business lunches at the hotel’s four restaurants – the Ocean, CÉ LA VI, Harbour Court restaurant and Yue Chuan with a selection of cuisine to suit your personal preference.
The CÉ LA VI Restaurant is open for lunch from 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and with Japanese cuisine being a firm favourite with many, their Bento box for Rs. 2500 is a good option.
The miso soup as a starter, comes with generous helpings of tofu and seaweed, a teaser for the dishes to follow.
The bento box comes with fragrant steamed rice and a green salad with a mild vinaigrette. Yakitori which is a Japanese-type skewered chicken marinated in a sweet savoury sauce accompanies the meal. A personal favourite was the salmon teriyaki – a sublime treat to your palate.
It would not have been an authentic Japanese meal without any sashimi. A true Japanese delicacy the bento box also provides three slices each of perfectly sliced salmon and tuna sashimi.
A fruit platter comes with the package to wash down the surprisingly filling meal. The seasonal fruits include freshly cut mangoes, papaya, guava, pineapple,grapes and strawberries. CÉ LA VI has a wide range of drinks available to order separately from fresh juices, the typical mocktails, sake and wines to complement your meal.In addition CÉ LA VI’s glass panel walls allow guests to enjoy the view of the upcoming Port city, the Indian Ocean and the twin towers.
