Kataragama Dhamma school students to get uniforms, books and shoes
View(s):The Kataragama Ayupala Sugunatissa Dhamma School will hold a ceremony to distribute prizes, certificates and uniforms at the Dhamma school’s premises on December 2, under the patronage of the Ven. Sashthrapathi Kapugama Saranatissa Nayaka Thera of Kataragama Sri Abhinavaramaya temple.
For the 12th time, this year also, philanthropists Nimal Jayantha Korala and Inoka Korala will donate school uniforms to 2,500 children. Books will be donated by Ushan Abeywickrama, while Ravindra Eknaligoda will donate uniforms and shoes to the Dhamma school’s children who will begin schooling next year.
Madura Wickramaratne will conduct a Dansala to provide meals to about ten thousand people including participants, residents and pilgrims
