Old boy provides nutrition budding athletes at alma mater

Saman Chandana, an old boy of Vijitha Central College Dikwella now domiciled in Italy has come forward to provide nutrition supplements to budding athletes at his alma mater. Chandana and his wife presented the first scholarship to Under-15 long jump gold medalist Chalani Koshila at a training session recently. Chandana will be providing Koshila with sufficient nutrients for the next two years.

“Koshila is the current Under-15 Girls’ long jump champion and has the potential of reaching national ranking,” said her coach K.H. Keerthi Kumara, recommending her.
