Wycherley International School held its annual ‘Kiddies Activity Day’ on May 10 at the Thurstan College ground at Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha, Colombo. The theme for this year’s event was ‘Internationalism’, where kids were given the opportunity to participate in different theme activities.

The children were dressed and all agog to take part in their respective events. The parents too had arrived and were eager to witness the sportive events of their little ones. The event displayed a colourful array of the flags of many countries in the world. Every event was costumed in accordance with the title of the event.

The activities had catchy captions such as ‘Barcelona 2018’, ‘Viva Mexico’, ‘A Whole New World’, ‘An Evening in Paris’, ‘Walk like an Egyptian’ and ‘Scottish Bag Pipes’, to name a few. The chief guest for the event was Rekha Attidiye, a renowned Clinical Psychologist. The students of Grade 2 performed a perfect Drill Display while the Grade 1 students kept the spectators spellbound with their melodious band performance.
