1st in the Island at 2017 A/L Aminda Wimalaweera of Mahamaya felicitated
View(s):Aminda Wimalaweera of Mahamaya Girls’ College who came first in the Island, at the 2017 GCE Advanced Level examination, was felicitated at her school by Chief Minister (CM) cum Provincial Education Minister Sarath Ekanayake.
The CM also presented certificates to two others who were among the Top 10. Certificates were also presented to 169 students who scored 9/8 ‘A’s at the GCE Ordinary Level exam, and to the Teachers involved in teaching these students.
Principal Ms H. Senadeera and former Principal Ms I. Vihtanage were also present.
